About VFT (and who the heck is Mandy)...

Virtual Fitness Trainer "offically" launched in 2000. (For a couple of years previous to that I ran a fitness freebies site and newsletter. )

From 2000 to 2005 Virtual Fitness Trainer's main goal was to provide online personal training to folk who either couldn't afford a one to one personal trainer or preferred the convenience of having access to a trainer online. I also continued to provide lots of great free content in the non-members section and kept my newsletter running "Number 1 in Fat Burning, Fun, Health and Fitness" - which has proven to be very popular and is still growing strong year after year.

As from late 2005, I shut my doors on my online personal fitness training memberships to a. Reduce my massive work load... and b. So I can spend more time with my family.

After working in the fitness industry for over 12 years I've learned a great deal from my members, visitors and subscribers as to what you want to see more of in a health and fitness website. My mission for VFT (Virtual Fitness Trainer) is to continue to provide quality articles, advice, tips and resources that are practical and can be put into action to help you acheive your health and fitness goals.
